Hugh brings 23+ years of experience in investment banking, vendor related financial services product management, and complex banking project and program management. His specialties include strategic planning, go to market strategies (new product and startup), pre- sales support, senior stakeholder management, project governance, and global delivery management. His previous employers include Rabo Bank, ABN AMRO, Barclays and Natwest.
He has been responsible for the product and technology delivery strategy for a dynamic, new derivatives clearing platform and created the multi-phase product and delivery strategy. This resulted in attracting and securing TMX, LSE and a key I/CSD as delivery partners. In addition he redirected the product strategy as market regulations evolved.
He has also provided program management across 2 key projects for CVA trading, IM/funding solution areas and brought to live status a fully reconciled CVA risk trading platform, and a cross bank- collateral inventory solution. He has worked as the Global Business and Technology Pre-Sales Manager, driving strategic PFE/CVA risk client opportunities and, aiding in overall bank project establishment and Markit-QuIC delivery planning.
